Children's Day Celebrations(Primary)

14th November is the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. This day is celebrated as “Children's Day “ all over the India. So today  our school  Patanjali Rishikul  has celebrated it with full enthusiasm. The day began with the special assembly that was conducted by the classes 1 & 2.

The assembly began with Saraswati Vandana followed by Shlok Chanting. Then the students presented a melodious action song 'Deep as the ocean blue'.

Poem- Grumblers was recited marvellously by the children. Students also presented a very amusing dance. The assembly was concluded by a short speech given by ma'am C. Verma. She appreciated the efforts of the children and told them the importance of Children's Day  and about their beloved 'Chacha Nehru'.

After the special assembly, the drawing competition was conducted in every classes on the topic 'Children's Day'. Children enthusiastically took part in the drawing competition. After the competition was over, chidren had their class picnic and they enjoyed the picnic alot. They all were very happy and it was clearly seen on their faces. At last they saw some animated movies and it is difficult to describe, how cheerful and joyful they became after all the events.

There was a story telling program conducted by 'Oxford Publication' for the students of class 5.


It was indeed a colorful and memorable day for all the children and they enjoyed it a lot.
