International Space Day

Patanjali Rishikul proudly celebrated National Space Day on 23rd August to honour India’s remarkable achievements in space science and technology, especially the success of Chandrayaan-3 and the visionary contributions of scientists like Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The celebration was filled with creativity, learning, and inspiration: Classes 3 to 5: International Space Day was thoughtfully designed to surrender young minds of to the wonders of space, blending creativity, learning, and hands-on experimentation in a delightful fashion. Students channeled their inner engineers and astronauts by creating imaginative crafts like flying rockets, spaceships, and fantastical alien vessels,equally captivating were the flying astronaut models and personalized space accessories and mementos. To bring the theme to life, an "Astronaut Training Camp" offered students interactive, movement-based challenges- Zero Gravity Walk, Playful Moon Jumps etc. Classes 6 to 8 expressed their imagination through Drawing, Painting, and Poster Making Activities on themes such as Our Future in Space, Journey to Mars, Exploring the Moon and Beyond, and Future Space Cities. Classes 9 & 10 showcased their knowledge and writing skills in Essay Writing on topics including Chandrayaan Missions, India’s Achievements in Space, Space Education & Employment, and Debris-Free Missions. Classes 11 & 12 participated in a thought-provoking Speech–Discussion on Space Technology in India, the Indian Space Policy 2023, and ISRO’s role in making India a global space leader. A special highlight of the day was that students watched the live program by ISRO on YouTube, which further inspired them to dream big and contribute to India’s space future.
