Patanjali Rishikul Crowns the Torch Bearers at Solemn Investiture

‘Ayush Tiwari was bestowed with the title ‘Head Boy’ and Esha
Vashishtha with ‘Head Girl’
With an air of pride and valour, the Investiture Ceremony of Patanjali Rishikul
for the academic session 2025-26 was held with great enthusiasm, dignity, and
solemnity on 13 August 2025. This grand event marked the official formation of
the Student Council and recognized the leadership qualities of deserving
students by entrusting them with various responsibilities.
The event commenced with the warm welcome to the distinguished guests,
including Chief Guest, Brigadier U.S.Kandil, Group Commander, NCC Head
Quarters, Prayagraj, Col. Nishant Bariar, President Sh. Ravindra Gupta, Director,
Madam Rekha Baid, Principal Sh. Nityanand Singh, Coordinators, teachers,
parents, and students.
The proceedings of the function commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the
lamp, to invoke Almighty’s blessings. This was followed by the melodious
presentation of a motivational song by the school choir that set the tone for the
morning. Further, a spell binding dance performance captivated the gathering.
The Principal Sh. Nityanand Singh then addressed the gathering with an inspiring
speech emphasizing the importance of discipline, integrity and commitment in
leadership. He reminded that leadership is not about holding a position; it is
about taking initiative, being responsible, and inspiring others. He motivated the
young council members by asking them to wear their badges not just as a symbol
of power, but as a reminder of duty to lead with humility, care and fairness.
Further he added that the student council body represents values of honesty,
valour, self-discipline, empathy and team work.
The highlight of the event was the formal pinning of badges and handing over of
sashes to the Student Council members of Junior and Senior wing. As each name
was called, the students marched smartly onto the stage, received their sashes
and badges, and took their positions.
The oath-taking ceremony followed, where the newly elected council, led by the
Head Boy and Head Girl, pledged to uphold the ideals of the school and fulfill
their duties responsibly and sincerely. It was a proud moment for parents,
teachers, and peers alike. The beaming faces of the office bearers bore
testimony to the fact that each of the well deserving student stands committed
to the responsibilities bestowed.
Ayush Tiwari and Esha Vashishtha led the student council as the chosen Head
Boy and Head Girl respectively. Shivansh Srivastava and Shrimurti were
elected as the Associate Head Boy and Associate Head Girl respectively.
Saharsh Pandey and Vaishnavi Yadav swore in as Sports Captain. Shaurya
Srivastava and Vaishnavi Sahu have been chosen to be the Activity Captain.
From the Primary Wing, Atharva Tiwari and Advita Chaudhary were appointed
as the Jr. Head Boy and Jr. Head Girl respectively.
In her message, Secretary, Patanjali Rishikul, Sh. Yashovardhan and Director,
Madam Rekha Baid Gupta congratulated the new office bearers and urged
them to take up their responsibilities with commitment and integrity. She
further added that the worth of the badge lies in taking up responsibilities
wholeheartedly with a sense of pride and self- worth.
Congratulating the new school senate, Vice President, Dr. Krishna Gupta said in
her message that a true leader works for a cause in the spirit of selfless service
and not for applause. She advised the students to shoulder their responsibilities
to the best of their abilities and to lead and inspire their peers.
The Chief Guest congratulated the council members and encouraged them to
embrace teamwork, respect and fairness in their responsibilities. He said that
leadership must be embraced as an opportunity to serve, not command. He
encouraged students to embrace their new roles with humility and should
focus on team work and time management.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem.
The ceremony was a grand success, fostering a sense of pride, unity, and
aspiration among the students. It served not just as a celebration of leadership,
but also as a reminder of the responsibilities it carries. The school hopes that the
newly elected council will carry out their duties with enthusiasm and help take
the institution to greater heights.
