On the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore’s 163rd birth anniversary, Senior Students of Patanjali Rishikul organised a colourful programme on stage on 8th May, 2024.
The programme witnessed active participation by the students. There were many events like Poetry recitation of Ho Chitt Jahan Bhay, Skit presentation on a short story -Kabuliwala written by Tagore, Group song – Ami Chini Go Chini Tomare... and group dance on the song – Esho Shyamolo Shundoro; all based on the timeless creations of the literary luminary, Tagore. These gave the children an insight into his work and life.
May his words ignite the flame of creativity and enlightenment in our soul.
The little champs of class 3 coloured his portrait and designed it. While the students of class 4 made beautiful book covers of the books authored by him. The students of class 5 made e posters and shared valuable insights on his teachings and preachings. Every child got a deeper look into the burned pages of history and the immortal messages of Rabindranath Tagore who rightfully called Gurudev by Mahatma Gandhi.
Celebrating this Nobel Laureate, children of classes 1 and 2 engaged in scrapbook activities and showcased their creative and oratory skills.
