Patanjali Rishikul celebrated Republic Day and Vasant Panchami with Enthusiasm and Love for Nation
Patanjali Rishikul celebrated Republic Day and Vasant Panchmi in all its solemnity and grandeur. President, Patanjali Rishikul, Mr. Ravindra Gupta, Secretary, Shri Yashovardhan and Director, Madam Rekha Baid graced the occasion with their benign presence.
The auspicious day started with a prayer assembly to seek blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of learning, knowledge and wisdom. Republic Day programme commenced with guard of honor by Rishikul Cadets. Thereafter, as the national flag was unfurled, the whole premises filled with vigor and sound of national anthem. Principal, Patanjali Rishikul, Shri Nityanand Singh welcomed the guests and showed gratitude towards our national heroes. He inspired the young Rishikulites to have a long term vision and open mindedness and said that with right observation, they can learn from their mistakes. They can be nation builders by becoming sensitive, responsible and disciplined citizens.
The celebration started with Saraswati Vandana, sung by the school choir. This was followed by a short speech on ‘Nari Shakti’ and ‘Janbhagidari’, the theme of this Republic Day. A mesmerizing dance performance showed the happiness during spring season. Poem recitation on ‘Jhansi ki Rani’ gave goosebumps to the entire gathering. The celebration concluded with a soulful presentation of patriotic song and dance.
Chief Guest, Shri Ravindra Gupta, in his speech, praised the efforts of teachers and students. He inspired the young generation to be aware of their surroundings and said that they must conquer anger and doubt and be self- confident to contribute in nation building. Vice President, Patanjali Rishikul, Dr Krishna Gupta, in her message, stated that pride and love for country must not be celebrated one day only, rather we should work selflessly every day for the nation.
Secretary, Shri Yashovardhan and Director, Madam Reha Baid motivated everyone to take pledge to uphold our rich traditions and cherish our culture and be a global citizen.
