Festivals are all about togetherness and harmony. With the onset of the spring season, it is the time to celebrate the festival of Vasant Panchami. It is celebrated to acclaim the Hindu Goddess Saraswati to empower human beings with speech, wisdom and consciousness.

To seek the blessings of the Deity on this auspicious occasion, a prayer ceremony was organized in the school premises. The whole campus wore a festive look and was adorned with handmade yellow sunflowers. All were dressed in radiant shades of yellow, which is associated with Goddess Saraswati. President, Shri Ravindra Gupta, Director, Madam Rekha Baid Gupta, Principal Shri Nityanand Singh and all the staff offered prayers and invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The whole campus was radiating with a pious aura. The Saraswati Pooja was followed by a devotional Saraswati Vandana and melodious folk songs.

The students of Patanjali Rishikul participated in various online activities to bring out their expressions on this festival. They made finger puppets, kites, greeting cards, decorated Pooja thalis, chanted Saraswati Vandana and Shlokas, cooked delicacies, donated books and stationary to the needy students and pledged to reach out to educate a person in the neighbourhood.

Vice President, Prof. Krishna Gupta greeted everyone and wished that Maa Saraswati bless us all by enlightening our minds and filling us with creative energy to make us blissful. Director, Madam Rekha Baid Gupta expressed hope that with blessings of Goddess Saraswati we will keep on guiding everyone on the path of learning.

Principal Shri Nityanand Singh, in his message laid emphasis on the significance of Vasant Panchami saying that it is the festival signifying change and therefore we should move forward to bring out positive changes in ourselves. He motivated everyone to be a progressive learner and to live with people and nature in a harmonious way.
